This Rod was co-designed by James Collin from Hunting Beach who specializes in Spotted Bay Bass and he did one hell of a job!
This Rod features a long handle that gives you great leverage while fighting fish and helps with fatigue. Since the reel sits higher, the rod fishes like a short rod which is needed when your in tight spots, like docks, bridges and lay downs but can cast a long ways because it's still 7'3.
Also, take note of the upsized K Guides which are a must have for using braid to leader knots.
Notable baits this rod performs well with are Ned rigs, finesse texas rigs, axe blades, 1/4-3/8oz swimjigs, drop shot, 1/4 sled head/fluke combo and so much more.
Pair this rod with a 2500-3000 size lightweight spinning reel loaded with 20-30lb braid. We recommend using this rod for straight retrieve style baits and jigging baits. Because of the handle length, we do not recommend fishing baits that require jerking or ripping.
